Kalakandh is a milk cake, here is the recipe to make the instant Kalakandh out of condensed milk.
Paneer, grated – 500g
Milk – 50ml
Condensed Milk – 400g (1tin)
Cardamom powder –
Trimmings of almond and cashewnuts
Method of preparation:
- Take a bowl, put paneer, milk and condensed milk. Mix it all well.
- Heat pan, add this mixture into it. Stir and mix well.
- Now the paneer starts leaves its water content so it is cooked till the water is dried well.
- Once this kalakandh mixture starts thick, add the cardamom powder. Stir well.
- Pour this mixture into the greased tray and put pistachio nuts over the kalakandh as garnish. Leave it to cool in outside after that cover and keep this kalakandh in freezer for 25 minutes.
- Take out and cut it into even sized pieces, present it nicely and serve kalakandh.
